About this odyssey
For hundreds of years, ancient and proud nomadic families have migrated through the Altai Mountains and Western Mongolia. Among the most remote parts of Mongolia, the western provinces of Olgii, Hovd, Uvs and Zavkhan are home to snow-capped mountains, arid desert and endless grassy steppe.
The region has been the gateway of the silk road and access through the steppe from China to Europe. The region is rich in culture and history, with petroglyphs, cave paintings, ancient monasteries and monuments. However, don't expect to see many people, it is a truly isolated part of the world.
In Western Mongolia, you will be challenged and transformed, as you follow in the footsteps of the nomads.
